County to consider 23,100-sq.-ft. museum expansion north of Jackson
On March 3, the Teton County commissioners are scheduled to hold a public hearing on a PUD amendment for a 23,100-square-foot addition to the National Museum of Wildlife Art site north of Jackson.
Teton County’s Board of County Commissioners meets March 3 to consider a planned unit development (PUD) permit amendment that would allow a 23,100-square-foot addition at the National Museum of Wildlife Art site north of Jackson.
The application (PUD2025-0002) is from property owner Wildlife of the American West, with planning consultant SJ Planning Solutions, to amend the existing National Museum of Wildlife Art PUD. County planning materials describe the 69-acre parcel on North Highway 89 as being zoned PUD-R1 and located within the Scenic Resources Overlay and in the mid and high tiers of the Natural Resources Overlay.
Commissioners are scheduled to take the item up as “New Business” under Planning & Development, with the staff report and application linked in the March 3 meeting agenda. Public comment is taken when the item is presented.
